Special Announcement from Craftsy - New Classes and Sales

SewCalGal is a big fan of Craftsy.  The classes offer a great value and are have very flexible schedules.  I'm actually taking a Mystery Quilting class this summer, with Kimberly Einmo and having great fun!

I wanted to heighten awareness of Craftsy related opportunities, as well as the fact SewCalGal is an Affiliate of Craftsy.  As an affiliate when you sign up for a class by clicking on a Craftsy button or link on SewCalGal, your price is the same as if you signed up directly from the Craftsy site, but Craftsy donates a percentage back to SewCalGal.  And, SewCalGal uses these funds to supplement the expense of shipping prizes to winners around the world. Shipping expenses were putting too much of a dent into my personal sewing budget (still are), so I want to say thank you to those that show support to SewCalGal by signing up for Craftsy classes or purchasing supplies from Craftsy, by first clicking from this site.  Thank you!

As Craftsy has a Summer Supplies Sale from 7/26-7/28, you may want to click over to check it out.

Craftsy is adding new classes all the time, so you may want to visit their site and take a look.  For me, it is easy to find something I'm interested in and I do so truly enjoy their classes.

Strip Your Stash with Nancy Smith looks like a fun class at a great value.  Insights are shared on color matching, as well as "six" quilt patterns are shared and you have an expert instructor to walk you thru each of them.  Sounds like a great way to burn thru your stash this summer and have fun learning too!

Machine Quilting Home Sweet Home is another great opportunity for those interested in learning to free-motion quilt their projects, as well as those that have experience but want to learn new designs by an FMQ Expert.

Craftsy has many other new classes too.  If you haven't yet taken a class at Craftsy, SewCalGal highly encourages you to give them a try. Their classes are extremely reasonably priced, great teachers, well organized and structured to where you can complete the class on your own schedule and repeat it whenever you want for free too!  Plus they have many FREE classes too!

You may want to check out the Free Classes at Craftsy, as they have a number of fun classes that are free and this is also a great way to check out online classes at Craftsy!

And, here are some links to reviews by SewCalGal on some classes at Craftsy:

Hello! I haven't visited for a while. Hope you are doing well. I'm an affiliate, too. I'm currently taking Angela Walter's Free Motion Quilting with Feathers & it's just wonderful. I love the Craftsy classes. I've really improved from watching them and then putting them into practice. Have a super day!

Oh golly I'm sorely tempted by that quilting negative spaces class. Maybe once my company goes.
