Fun Events for Electric Quilt Users and Want to be Users

Are you aware that EQ7 is the most popular software for Quilters?  EQ6/EQ7 has been voted the Best Software in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Golden Quilter Awards.  Most designers world wide use EQ software to design quilts that they publish in books, create patterns for sell, as well as design award winning quilts exhibited at quilt shows around the world.  And, there are a lot of new quilters that also enjoy using EQ software to help plan fabrics, modify designs, as well as create their own designs.

There are some fun events coming soon for EQ Users and also or those that are simply interested in learning more about EQ software.

Bea (BeaQuilter) has organized a super fun Electric Quilt (EQ) Applique' Animals Blog Hop that starts Monday, April 22nd.  There will be oodles of tips, tutorials, inspiration and great giveaways too!

Behind The Mouse (aka the EQ Blog) is going to host a free summer drawing series that will teach the fundamentals of the block drawing tool.  Everyone is invited to participate and they'll also be an optional "link up" for sharing.  This event starts May lst, but click here for more info on this Summer Drawing Series.

And don't forget, Electric Quilt software is considered a "Modern Quilting Tool" and SewCalGal maintains a list of bloggers that use such modern quilting tools and shares insights on their blogs.  You can always visit these blogs and search "Electric Quilt" to find tips, tutorials and inspirational posts that they have shared.  Simply click on the tab at the top of my blog labeled "Modern Quilting Tools" for a list of some amazing bloggers that use a variety of Modern Quilting Tools.

It looks like the spammers found you;)
I look forward to the hop, and learning more about EQ.
I have the mac program and get lost with it, and I need to make a quilt and would be nice if I could do the layout and sizing for fabric, before I start.
