Ooodles of Great Prizes for the Quilter's Christmas Party

There are over 100 great donations for Prizes for the Quilter's Christmas Party, on Sunday December 9th.  I'm doing some sorting (e.g. Door Prizes, Raffle Prizes) and basketizing for the Golden Ticket Prize Bundles.  I thought you might like to get a sneak peak on "some" of the prizes.

SewCalGal wishes to thank the following Sponsors that have generously donated prizes for the Quilter's Christmas Party:
ASF/Lightware Solutions/The Reading Light (Beam N Read), Kelly Jackson of I Have A Notion (IHAN), Island Batik,  MartingaleMyMemories American & Efird LLCSewEZI QuiltingLark CraftsCozy Quilt DesignsCraftsy, Judy Chain of Sew Fun QuiltsNew Leaf Stitches, Rebecca Goldsmith of  Piece O' Cake DesignsFabric.com, Ebony Love (Love Bug Studios) and Lily Patch Quilts.

As prizes are still coming in and their are plenty of prizes, I may do some shuffling before the party on the 9th as to what is a door prize vs raffle prize vs silent auction prize. But I think you will get the idea that there are plenty of prizes. Yes, so many prizes and hopefully more sponsors will donate too, that it just seems appropriate we also have a silent auction too!

WANT TO WIN A PRIZE?

Win a Door Prize by coming to the Quilter's Christmas Party on December 9th.  PR Angels are needed to help spread the word and greatly appreciated.  On December 9th SewCalGal will host the party, with a linky.  Bloggers and non-bloggers will be able to participate.  You can share insights on your favorite Christmas memory, what you are making for gifts and/or household decorations this year, tips, tutorials, just about anything you can think of that is fun and has a Christmas Party theme. And, posts that share insights about anyone in your family (or family history) that has served in the Military is also welcome! But your post needs to be dated December 9th, the party link will be open for 24 hours, and your post needs to show that you are participating in the Quilter's Christmas Party hosted by SewCalGal with a link back to the party.

Win a Raffle Prize by donating a $1 or more to Operation Homefront.  Each $1 donation gets you an entry to win a Raffle Prize.

Win one of two Golden Ticket Prize Bundle by getting a Golden Ticket for every $10 you donate to Operation Homefront.

There are many ways you can donate to Operation Homefront:

Quilters that make cash donations to Operation Homefront can do so by visiting their website and submitting an online donation (click here).  Any amount is appreciated and can help to make a difference to a Military Family in need of special assistance.

And, be sure to enter "SewCalGal" in the comments so that I can recognize your donation accordingly. Operation Homefront will provide SewCalGal with a list of donations that will be used to assign raffle tickets/Golden tickets for the drawing of prizes!

Operation Homefront will be providing a report that I'll use to generate raffle tickets for each $1 donation and the winning raffle tickets will be randomly drawn and announced by mid-December.

OR you can write a check to "Operation Homefront" and mail it to SewCalGal.  I will hand deliver it to a representative of Operation Homefront.

OR you can issue a PayPal transaction using my mailing address and specify funds are to be used for Operation Homefront, but please note this PayPal transaction will not qualify you for a tax deduction, whereas donations direct to Operation Homefront are tax deductible as it is a 501c3 non-profit program.   I will issue a check made payable to Operation Homefront for 100% of any donations received in this manner and deliver the check to a representative of Operation Homefront.

I'll be there via blog post! What fun, and a great cause. I have a cousin with 3 grandsons in Afghanistan right now - they all shipped out together in late summer.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Love all that you and the wonderful and generous sponsors are doing for Operation Homefront. My Dad was career Air Force and my son who is in the Marine Corps, just returned a few days ago from deployment in Afghanistan. This is so great for the military families, as it's really the while family that serves. Thank You!

I would love to join in the Quilter's Chtistmas Party!

I will be sure to make a special Christmas post on December 9th.

For the last few Christmases we have been honored to share the day with a family friend in the military service. He is currently in the reserves and will be joining us again this year. Next year he will be returning to active duty and and we can only hope he will be able to join us again next Christmas.

To help spread the news and share the fun, do I add a button to the side of my blog?

:) Pat

The party sounds like fun! Can I assume that people may participate using a Holiday or Chanukah theme? This year the first day of Chanukah falls out on December 9!
