Attend a tour of Hoffman California Fabrics (sign up thru the IQF Quilt Show class registration process).
You can view the complete list of classes and enrollment online, but pre-enrollment deadline is July 13th!
Of course, the highlight of this event is attending the show. They'll be many spectacular quilts on display, many wonderful special exhibits, with a mix of art & traditional quilts.
Show Hours
July 26: 5-9 p.m. (Preview Night)
July 27 & 28: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
July 29: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ticket prices:
$10 daily adult/$8 senior & student/Children 10 and under free with paying adult
$10 Preview Night (includes one free additional day)
$25 Full Show Pass (includes Preview Night)
There are also many great restaurants in the area. And, Long Beach also has an excellent public transportation system that has a stop very close to the Convention Center.
- Starwood Hotels & Resorts/Westin Long Beach has a great deal for a package that includes passes to the Acquarium at $139/night. The Westin is also an official hotel for this show.
- Vagabond Inn Convention Center Long Beach, 150 Alamitos Ave, 90802 Long Beach, six blocks from the center, an easy walking distance, is $69/night including breakfast.
- Hyatt Regency Long Beach is attached to the Long Beach Convention Center, offering the shortest walk to the show. The Hyatt is also an official hotel for this show.

That looks like a great show. I'll have to do the "mark yer calendar" option for now, though. I'm on the East Coast! Have a super day!
I'll be there. I will be selling tickets for Orange Grove Quilt Guild's opportunity tickets one day.
