Machine Embroidery & Other Classes at Road to California Quilter's Conference

You may be noticing that more quilts are being made using machine embroidery.  Many of these quilts are being exhibited at various quilt shows, and  they are winning coveted awards too!  This trend in quilting continues to grow and is was even recognized by many attendees at IQF Houston recently.

The Road to California Quilter's Conference is a premier event, where attendees will come from all over the world to take classes and attend the show.

There are a number of workshops that focus on machine embroidery.  Embroidery machines are also provided, allowing you the opportunity to test-drive the embroidery modules to see if you want to make that large investment. Previous experience is not necessary, sign up and learn how to add a new dimension to your projects.

There are actually more Machine Embroidery classes scheduled for this 2012 event, than I've ever seen previously at any show!

Sarah Vedeler will be teaching a 2 day embroidered applique' retreat where you will learn:
- the secrets to successful stabilizing
- how to position a design exactly where you want it
- the easy way to do multiple hoopings
- why the AccuQuilt GO! cutter is the perfect tool for cutting applique shapes
This workshop (#1201) will be held Mon & Tues., Jan 16th & 17th.  Embroidery Machines will be provided by Bernina.  There will also be AccuQuilt products to help you cut your applique' pieces to make this beautiful pillow, using Sarah's GO! Bloom embroidery designs.

Other Machine Embroidery Classes
Machines are provided by various manufacturers so you don't even need an embroidery machine to take one of these classes!  This also gives you a great opportunity to test drive various machines.  Check out the class catalog for more insights on these classes, as well as other classes offered at this show.

I just got my old sewing/embroidery machine back. It will tie me over until I can invest in a better one. I need to take a class to learn how to use it better. I really like these examples you posted.

By adding this to my repertoire, I'd really be able to fly!!!!!!!!
