The IQF Long Beach Show 2011 was a
spectacular quilt show with many amazing quilt exhibits. Of the more traditional quilt exhibits, “Baltimore
Album Review II: Baltimore’s Daughters –
Friends Stitch Past to Future” was a spectacular “classic” quilt exhibit.
The collection of 12 quilts in this
exhibit, reflecting three decades of Antebellum Baltimore Album Study with
Ellie Sienkiewicz, were made by an
amazing group of talented quilters:
Marie-Anne Coadic, Cynthia Collier,
Pat Collins, Joan Dorsay, Patrica Drennan,
Mary Ann Herndon, Cheryl Kerestes,
Dawn Licker,Fran Lopes. Melinda Lowy,
Kim McLean, Sandra L. Mollon, Judy
Laval Morton, Marjorie Nelson, Adele M. Petty,
Aneda Phillips, Marsha Radtke, Jerre
Reese, Honk Sook Ro, June McCauley Ross
I’m happy to share insights with
you on a few of the quilts in this exhibit:

Wow, those are gorgeous, thank you.
I'm enjoying all the quilts. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing those quilts. They were even more beautiful in person. I wanted to take detailed photos but that wasn't allowed :( Gorgeous work in all of them. I could have spent hours just in that section alone.
Such a lot of work went into those quilts. They are beautiful.
