There are 17 different projects in this book that range from handmade memo boards, fridge magnets, coasters, quilted cozies for (one for a casserole and one for a slow cooker), pot holders, aprons, placemats, table runners, totes and more.

Many of these projects can easily be made from fabrics you have in your stash, or coordinated fabrics you may want to purchase.  But they don't take a lot of yardage, nor time to make.

And each project comes with easy to follow instructions and great visuals.

The designs were created by talented quilters and designers such as Natalie Barnes, Lindsay Conner, Melissa Corry, Jenifer Dick, Amy Ellis, Linda Turner Griepentrog, Kim Niedzwiecki, Kari Ramsay, Missy Shepler, Rebecca Silbaught, Amy Struckmeyer, Heather Valentine, and Jackie White.

These projects would certainly help to brighten up your kitchen and home, as well as make for excellent gifts.  Of course, SewCalGal thinks they'd also make excellent gifts for Christmas and wants to encourage everyone to consider making items from this book for Christmas gifts and entering what you make in the Make It A Handmade Christmas Challenge!

But besides providing projects to make great Christmas gifts, as well as to use around your own home, the projects in this book would also be excellent for housewarmings, hostess gifts, bridal showers and more.

SewCalGal hopes you'll check out this fun new book at your favorite quilt shop, sewing center, or at Martingale's online store.
