This post has been updated to show all raffle prizes and reflect that this event has been extended thru December 15th. If you would like to purchase raffle tickets (aka donate funds to one of the four non-profit charities showcased in this event) please email me for details.
There are 20 prize bundles with a total prize value that exceeds $1,600!
Welcome to the Raffle for the Quilter's Bee Giving Charity Fundraiser will benefit four different non-profits. 100% of the proceeds will go to these charities and when you purchase your raffle tickets you can decide which of the four charities you want to donate to.
SewCalGal is using a spreadsheet to generate virtual raffle tickets. For each $1 you donate you get a unique number and a random number generator will be used on early December to select the lucky winners.
And, for every $10 worth of raffle tickets you purchase your name will automatically be added to a drawing for a special Golden Ticket Prize that will exceed a $100 value!
Sponsors have been very generous and donated many amazing prizes. SewCalGal is still working on updating posts and sharing insights on all of the prizes, as well as basketizing prizes for the raffle (and auction). This is not yet a complete list of prizes, but hopefully enough to get you excited about wanting to buy raffle tickets (make a donation to one of the four charities showcased in this event).
note: SewCalGal is working to combine prizes to take advantage of flat rate shipping rates. While all of these prizes will be awarded in the raffle, and there will be 20+ prize bundles, some of the prizes currently listed may be bundled with additional items. Gosh darn, if that upsets you (getting a bigger prize) my apologies.
I also want to encourage quilters passionate about this charity to chat this up with their local quilting friends. You can help raise funds with these great charities by getting letting quilting friends know. And, you can also collect their checks (donations) and send them to SewCalGal so that your friends are also entered to win prizes in this raffle.
With your help we can increase awareness of these great charities and hopefully raise more money. Still, the odds of winning an prize are significantly better than the lotto!

*SewCalGal will ship prizes world-wide, but prizes will be packaged to go in US flat rate envelopes and boxes for US winners. Winners will need to pay for shipping which SewCalGal ships directly. Many prizes will be shipped to winners direct from the sponsors, shipping costs compliments of the sponsors. And many prizes are open to international participants.
Winners will be randomly selected, as they will be drawn using a random number generator based on a series of virtual raffle ticket numbers that will be assigned to those that purchase (donate) raffle tickets and logged into SewCalGal's tracking spreadsheet. They will be notified by email when they win. If they wish to decline a prize, to allow another name to be drawn, their name/number will be added back in to the drawing where they may win another prize that has not yet been drawn, or be given first right to choose a prize that has been turned down before another name is drawn.
If you want to purchase raffle tickets and need an address to mail your check, or have questions, please Email SewCalGal ASAP.
Please check back, as this post will be updated to provide more insights on all the raffle prizes. I'm just running late, to be able to include some amazing last minute donations, as well as "basketize" items to ensure they also fit in flat rate envelopes or boxes, to reduce shipping costs.
And, don't forget you can always find current information and links to this event by clicking on the "charity" page on my blog. This page will be updated throughout this event and contain links to current information.
Click here to visit the online auction.
Email SewCalGal if you have questions or if you would like a mailing address to send a check to purchase your raffle tickets.
PR Angels also appreciated to help spread the word (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, email, tell all of your quilting friends too). You can also collect donations from your quilty friends and mail them to SewCalGal, to help them win raffle prizes too. Just be sure to have their checks made payable to one of the four non-profit charities showcased in this event and have them write their email address in the check comments so they can be contacted, should they win a prize.
