I have a spreadsheet where I'm tracking every raffle ticket purchase (aka Donation) and a number will be assigned to the donor. SewCalGal will use a random number generator to draw the virtual raffle tickets and announce the winners of all the raffle prizes. Auction prizes will be awarded to the highest bidder, but no one will know exactly when any auction item will close so submit your best bids early and remember 100% of the funds go to the non-profit charities being showcased in this event.
This event focuses on increasing awareness of four non-profits. I hope you will take time to visit the bloggers who are passionate about their favorite charity and sharing insights with you on their blog:
1) Marjorie's Quilting Bee (http://tinyurl.com/mglctck), an advocate for Hope for HH,
2) Green Fairy Quilts (http://tinyurl.com/o4f5ju3), an advocate for the Green Fairy Quilts Charity,
3) Jaybird Quilts (http://tinyurl.com/pmvxqtv), an advocate for Alex's Lemonade Stand is Fighting Childhood Cancer, One Cup at a Time,
4) Snoodles at LIlypad Quilting (http://tinyurl.com/kkawott), an advocate for the Greenville Humane Society

Click here to see the raffle prizes and info. More information will be shared shortly on the auction prizes, but a list of all donations can be found on the page labeled "Charity". This page will also be updated throughout this event, always containing links to the most current information. I am working with sponsors to get last minute donations added to that page and finish basketizing raffle and auction items. Raffle tickets are $1 each and you can write your check made payable to your favorite of the four charities being showcased in this event. Email SewCalGal for more info on purchasing raffle tickets. Plus, for every $10 of raffle tickets you automatically get entered to win an amazing Golden Ticket Prize (aka Grand Prize).
For each each $10 donation to one of the four charities, via the raffle, you will also be entered to win a special prize. These "Golden" tickets are given out for every $10 donation for a special drawing. AKA Grand Prize in the raffle drawing.
note: As this is a fundraiser, SewCalGal is also asking winners to pay for shipping costs of their respective prize(s).
Don't forget to pop over to visit the four blogs participating in this event, to learn more about the amazing charities they are passionate about.
To see a complete list of all of the auction items click here. All of the auction items will close mid-December, but as this is a charity fundraiser SewCalGal is not disclosing the date for when any given auction item will close. So, bid now and check back often.
