Sarah Vedeler Teaching at Cozy Quilt Shop - Amazing Quilting & Embroidery Opportunities

Sarah Vedeler is an amazing designer, quilter, teacher, and a true master machine embroidery artist.  She is well known for GO! Be Dazzled quilt that was awarded 1st place in the Computer Aided Machine Embroidery category of the International Quilt Association World of Beauty Annual Judged Show in Houston, TX in November 2010.

Many also know Sarah for her spectacular quilts and other projects that can be made using her  Hearts ME CD designs, Heather Feather ME designs, as well as the Sparkle ME designs.

You may know Sarah for her spectacular use of color, or it might be that you are familiar with her amazing free-motion quilting style.

Southern California is fortunate to be having a very mild winter, and our winter is even getting better.  Yes,  Sarah Vedeler is coming to teach at Cozy Quilt Shop February 21st & 22nd of which you are invited too!

On Monday., February 21st Sarah will be teaching a Stars Embroidered Applique Class from 10am-4pm.

This ME design set can work with fabrics cut the old fashioned way, but AccQuilt GO! has a great collection of dies that really make applique ME so much easier.
Cozy Quilt Shop will also have a GO! and these Star dies available for use at this class.  And the stars ME design pack is on sale (both in the shop and on line).  Cozy Quilt Shop also has all of the GO! Stars dies for purchase too, along with packets of silk fat quarters and Aurifil thread kits that were specifically created for this ME designn set, by Sarah.

Sarah will be showing participants techniques and tricks to make gorgeous embroidered applique quilts, wallhangings, table toppers and more.

The possibilities of how you use these designs are endless.  You can use any fabrics and threads, and make your project in any size.  All embroidery machines welcome.

Cozy Quilt Shop will have a GO! cutter available for your use during that class to make cutting the shapes easier. AND the stars design pack is on sale (both in the shop and online.)

Also, on Monday Sarah will have a  - Trunk Show from 6-7pm.
Cozy Quilt Shop welcomes everyone to come to this trunk show for free.  Sarah will share some of her  spectacular designs and projects. This is a great opportunity to meet Sarah and see how her designs have changed the way we look at machine embroidery, and she is also a very talented free motion quilter too!  Come see her quilts, hear her stories, and join this fun event for FREE!

Tuesday, February 22nd Sarah is teaching "Quilted All Over"
Come learn free-motion quilting techniques and tips from Sarah.  All machines are welcome, so long as you can lower your feeddogs.   This class is from 10am-4pm.

Come enjoy the fun with Sarah Vedeler at Cozy Quilt Shop.  Take one or both classes and/or attend the trunk show.  If you do not live in the area, remember we are having such great weather that this could be a wonderful opportunity to come for a class and stay for a few days to enjoy our warm winter!  If you want recommendations for hotels, just let me know.

This type of opportunity doesn't happen very often, so I do hope you can take advantage of it.  If you do live in another area and are not able to make it, you may want to recommend to your LQS owner to contact Sarah Vedeler to come teach at your LQS.  This talented lady is a rare treat for quilting, sewing & machine embroidery enthusiasts.

I must confess, I was so excited I signed up to attend all of her classes even before I knew what she was going to teach!  I hope you can come join the fun too!

For more information on these classes and/or to register, you can call Cozy Quilt Shop at 619-670-0652.

I love her quilts, and the way you can use them with the go and software. I saw that our pfaff shop is holding some classes for some of the new go things, need to go check them out, I could use some lessons.
