STASH Fall 2010

Do you dream of having a large stash of recent fabric releases?  I know I do.  Thus, I love ALL the STASH collections from The Electric Quilt Company.  Actually, I must confess I love everything EQ.  And I was very fortunate to win a copy of  STASH Fall 2010, from Quilting with Debi and The Electric Quilt Company   in the recent Fall into Fall giveaway.  Thank you Debi and EQ, I love STASH Fall 2010!

The STASH program will allow you to browse fabric store shelves in your own home, via a stand alone program.  And, for EQ users, you can easily link thru the Fabric Library feature to any STASH library.  It is also very easy to install, as well as to link to via EQ6/EQ7 software.

The STASH program provides a variety of uses.  I like the ease of viewing fabrics by line and adding fabrics that I like to a shopping bag, which allows me to check to see if I like the combination of fabrics that I want to design a quilt with.  I can then print that shopping list out, if I wish, but I will refer to this list when I design a quilt in EQ.

STASH also allows you to search thru all the fabrics by color or category (e.g. flowers, tone on tone, etc.).  You can create multiple shopping bags, export fabrics via a bitmap, etc..

To link your EQ7 to STASH, from within EQ7 you simply click Libraries, Fabric Library, Link Library, and Auto Add.  If Stash Library does not appear in your list of Linked Libraries, click on Add and type in the name of your STASH, click the browse button to locate your STASH library (mine is C:\Program Files\Electric Quilt Company\Stash\Lib\) , and click OK to add.

STASH Fall 2010 has over 4,600 new fabrics from 28 different fabric manufacturers:

Are you seeing how easy it is to plan your fabric selection for your next quilt using STASH Fall 2010 and EQ6/EQ7?  I just love it.

And, for those using EQ7 please remember that the Christmas Quilt Show is coming and you can also participate by submitting a Christmas quilt design using EQ7.  For more info on this show, click on the tab on this page labeled "Christmas Quilt Show" This  is a great opportunity to create in EQ7 and play with the beautiful new Fall 2010 fabrics in this latest release of STASH too!  To clarify, it is not a requirement to have STASH Fall 2010 to enter an EQ7 quilt in the Christmas Quilt Show, but I do believe you'll have more fun when you get a copy of this newest version of STASH.

Many premium quilt shops carry EQ products, including STASH Fall 2010, but you can also order a copy of this new STASH online from EQ.
