Quilt Market / Quilt Festival Fall 2010

Are you packing to go to Quilt Market Oct 30th - Nov lst? Or, are you like me and excited to see all the new merchandise appear in stores and online, in the coming months?  I wish I could go to Quilt Market, but it just won't work with my schedule.

But, I have a few tips to share for those that are visiting Quilt Market Fall 2010, and for those that can't attend you may want to keep your eye out for these new products appearing in your local stores and/or online shops soon.

Quilter’s Paradise will be displaying some great laser cut applique designs and kits.  I urge every buyer for a store to pop by their booth to take a look at these popular kits. And, if you are a designer you should also visit this booth and chat with them about their laser cutting services.  They have the ability to accurately cut fabric with a unique laser cutter that is very innovative.  Plus they cut custom rulers & templates!  Definitely check out their booth at Quilt Market.  Definitely visit them in booth #866.

Cozy Quilt Designs will be releasing many new designs at Quilt Market. Plus they have been working with Sharyn Craig and will be introducing a new booklet and ruler that helps create beautiful settings for quilt blocks.  This booklet and ruler is going to be very popular with quilters.  Do visit Daniela Stout  and Sharyn Craig in the Cozy Quilt Designs booth.

Elisa's Backporch Designs has some great patterns, books, rulers & templates that I hope you'll check out in booth 2228,30.

Electric Quilt (Booth 808) will be at Quilt Market and Quilt Festival.  You'll be able to get demonstrations of EQ7 and see STASH Fall 2010, and have a chance to win some great giveaways.  Be sure to visit them in Booth 808, 09, 10, 11

Quilt in a Day will be in booth 1561 at Quilt Market and 1559, 61, 63  1561 at Quilt Festival.  Eleanor Burns has several new products, including a new line of fabric.  Definitely check out her new and revised book Radiant Star.

AccuQuilt will be giving demonstrations of their products, new dies, and the new GO! Baby.  Be sure to visit booth 1024, 26, 1125, 27.

Sarah Vedeler will be at Quilt Market.  You should be able to find her in the Brewer Booth (1124) for most of  Quilt Market, but she'll also be in the Aurifil booth (1644) and the AccuQuilt booth (1024) for a while.  She has so many beautiful machine embroidery designs and more to come.

Quilt Country will be at Quilt Market with oodles of designs, including the Potato Bag pattern, by Paula Hughes,  that I so hope to get a copy of (my local shop sold out faster than a bowl of potato chips at a party).

Pat Sloan will be in Sullivan's booth, sharing insights on a new ruler that they've created that automatically sharpens your rotary cutter blade.  Be sure to visit booth 1100, 1201 at Quilt Market.

Island Batiks will be at Quilt Market and sharing insights on some beautiful new batiks that I anticipate to sell like hotcakes!

P3 Designs will be in booth #956.  Pearl P. Pereira is an amazing designer and teacher.  She is also introducing some new applique designs at this Quilt Market that I anticipate to be very popular and will create award winning quilts.

Java House Quilts will be in booth 2254.  They have some wonderful whimsical designs and are always coming out with new items.

Martingale & Company/That Patchwork Place will be introducing many wonderful new books at Quilt Market that will be very popular.  Definitely viist them in booth # 908, 09, 10, 11

Ok.  There are so many wonderful vendors at Quilt Market and Quilt Festival I can't list them all.  But I do hope if you are going, you'll make sure you visit the few that I've listed.  I really do believe they have some great products that you'll want to check out.

Lastly, if you are attending or not attending you may want to have fun on Twitter with Quilt Market activity.  Tweets pertaining to Quilt Market will be using the #QuiltMarket

I can't wait to get there!

We're leaving Thursday morning. I'm going to just relax in the back seat for the eight hour drive and watch a few movies on my iPad.

I wish they would hold quilting events here in the Northeast; it would be nice to attend some.
