Creating Clipart for Quilters & Bloggers (freebies too)

Between blogging, guild newsletters, creating greeting cards, etc. I'm frequently looking for clipart, as well as easy ways to format text and photos for sharing.  While, I use a variety of software packages, I have been having great fun using the myMemories Suite software.  It didn't take me long to create some simple WordArt and I wanted to share this with you. To clarify, if there are images that I've created and shared in this post, you are more than welcome to take a copy and use, if you are interested.

To start off, I want to wish those that celebrate Hanukkah, a very Happy Hannakkah!

And, for those that celebrate Christmas, I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas.
I found this quote inspirational and it also made me think about how our quilts give comfort to many.

For my friends that run their own business, I had to create something using this cute quote:

For those that make charity quilts, as well as quilts to give to those that need a good quilty hug, or even make a quilt for a loved one, this quote inspired me to create this image:

This quote has always been one of my favorites:

This is a fun quote, but I also feel the same way about chocolate:

Lastly, these words just seem to sum everything up:

I'm definitely having fun with the MyMemories software.  While this software was created for Scrapbookers, I am of the opinion that a Scrapbooker is a quilter that hasn't discovered fabric. And, there have been some wonderful products designed for Scrapbookers that have found their way into the home of a Quilter.   Either way, this software is really fun and easy to use and it also offers great creativity to quilters and bloggers alike.

While MyMemories software is reasonably priced at $39.97, they have also offered readers of SewCalGal a $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software.  And, they will also give you a $10 coupon for the My Memories store - $20 value! Just copy and paste the code STMMMS74482 and enter it during checkout to receive your discount!

Use Code STMMMS74482 at checkout!

While myMemories provides quite a few freebies for users of their software, they have also created some images, in PNG format, that you can use in a variety of software applications.  If you would like to download these free images, simply click on this image below:

On the respective page for this freebie, provided by myMemories, you'll click on the download button to save it to your computer where you can use it to create a scrapbook pages, images to use on your blog, or images that you can use to turn into a greeting card, etc.
