Comparison of Electronic Die Cutting Machines and insights on Deals and Sweepstakes

Electronic die cutting machines have been very popular, in the world of scrapbooking for several years.  And, quilters are quickly seeing the benefits of using these tools for cutting fabric, vinyl and more.

The ease of not having to use a hand crank, along with the speed are certainly a great feature.  Some electronic die cutting machines can even use dies from a variety of manufacturers, as well as embossing plates to not only use on paper, but you can use to texture canvas and fabrics that have been starched and stabilized, opening up more possibilities for quilters.

AccuQuilt has recently introduced their first electronic die cutting machine, the GO! Big.  Sizzix has had the Vagabond and Craftwell has had the eBosser, and this past year released the newer model called the Teresa Collins Cut N Boss.  All can cut fabric, but the number of layers that can be cut vary, along with other features.  And all of these manufacturers (and bloggers too) have videos on YouTube that provide more information on these products, as well as various tips, tutorials and more!

Here are some comparison points that you may want to be aware of, when considering an electronic die cutting machine:

There certainly a lot of fun cutters out there but if I had my choice I would stick with the Go Big because I have a ton of dies....the cost is a problem but oh well...I don't mind cranking.

You know I'm in love with my Vagabond but it does limit the size of die I can use.

Thanks for the reviews, great information!

Smiles,
Kelly
