SewCalGal received a Press Release from C&T Publishing this week and wants to share it with you today, as this is a great way where quilters can help enlisted military and Veterans by way of raising funds for Operation Homefront.
C&T Publishing is one of the partners in the Quilted in Honor program, hosted by Island Batik. Look for this button on partner sites to find products that are being sold where profits are donated to Operation Homefront:
C&T
Publishing has already raised over $1700 for Operation Homefront through Quilted in Honor and we need your help to make our goal of
$5000!
Quilted in
Honor is a charity event to benefit Operation Homefront, and C&T Publishing is honored to
be a part of the effort.
How you can help: Visit PatternSpot.com and click on the “Quilted in Honor”
button. It will take you to over a dozen celebrity-designed, C&T Publishing–tested
patterns all for only $5.00 each with all proceeds going to benefit Operation
Homefront.
And show your
support by proudly carrying our
Quilted in Honor—Eco
Tote. This
patriotic bag is made from recycled plastic and features Alex Anderson, Angela Walters, Barbara Persing
and Mary Hoover for only $8.95
About Quilted in Honor
Quilted In Honor was born
from the idea that, by working together, the quilting industry could come
together and make a positive impact in the lives of military families in need
by raising much-needed funds and by creating and donating
quilts. A percentage of sales from every single Quilted In Honor product sold
goes towards benefiting military families through the charitable organization,
Operation Homefront.

That sounds like a wonderful program and cause to help those who serve. I do have patriotic fabrics, so hopefully I can make a few next year.
I wanted to let you know that I received my book today and wanted to thank you for that and the goodies that you added. I will will do a post when I finish a piece and add links to you and Gail. I have an idea with the cute little elf.

Great to know C&T are doing such a great job of raising funds.
Smiles,

That tote would make a great gift bag if someone was giving a quilt as a gift, you know I'm always looking for ways out of wrapping :).
