I'm delighted to be able to share insights with you today, to let you know the winners of the Quilter's Auction to benefit Operation Homefront.
ASF/Lightware Solutions/The Reading Light (Beam N Read), Kelly Jackson of I Have A Notion (IHAN), Island Batik, Martingale, MyMemories, American & Efird LLC, SewEZI Quilting, Lark Crafts, Cozy Quilt Designs, Craftsy, Judy Chain of Sew Fun Quilts, New Leaf Stitches, Rebecca Goldsmith of Piece O' Cake Designs, Fabric.com, Ebony Love (Love Bug Studios) and Lily Patch Quilts.
Quilters helped to raise funds by way of:
- Quilter's Christmas Party (physical and virtual parties) - purchase of raffle tickets to win prizes
- Online Quilter's Auction
And, SewCalGal sold advertisement on this blog to eight (8) sponsors who donated funds to Operation Homefront. These amazing sponsors include: ASF/Lightware Solutions/The Reading Light (Beam N Read), Kelly Jackson of I Have A Notion (IHAN), the Fat Quarter Shop, New Leaf Stitches, Craftsy, and the Quilted Kitty.
Total Funds Raised
As you are aware, my goal was to raise $1,000 for Operation Homefront. Thanks to those that purchased raffle tickets, sponsors that donated prizes, and sponsors that purchased advertisement space on my blog (funds were given to Operation Homefront), while my goal was to raise $1,000 we raised $2,345 for Operation Homefront! And, they were very appreciative to receive these funds! This money will be used to help with their non-profit programs to help wounded veterans, as well as emergency situations for military families that are not covered by government programs, all for E1-E6 enlisted personnel in need of assistance with special circumstances.
