EQ Stitch Is Now Available - What Do You Want To Digitize?

The Electric Quilt Company has released a new software product, called EQStitch.

SewCalGal recommends EQStitch to those that own an embroidery machine and EQ7 software and want the ability to create their own embroidery designs.  It is an easy to use software package and an extremely reasonable price, making it an affordable modern quilting tool, so I'm confident this is going to become a very popular software package.

EQStitch is machine embroidery digitizing software that is an "plug-in" for EQ7.  This software is easy to use, with auto-digitizing features, that will help you create beautiful designs which you can stitch out on your embroidery machine.  As an add-on to EQ7, you'll be able to create unique embroidery designs in minutes and easily incorporate these designs into your quilt design!

While you can use EQStitch to create your own embroidery design, it also comes with 310 embroidery designs and 200 machine applique' designs that you can use "as is", or modify these designs to make them your own design.  There are 19 different fill styles and you can easily adjust the angle and density, as well as adjust the underlay settings to give your design stability.  And you can create a Steil Stitch edge (like a satin stitch), create redwork, or use a Bean Stitch edge.  For many, this may sound confusing as there is so much functionality that comes with this package, but it really is a fun and easy to use tool.

This is a great way to get your feet wet with EQ and learn how to create your own machine embroidery designs.  This software is a excellent value at $249.95, but the Electric Quilt Company has a special on this software for $149.97, making it an excellent value.

What would you like to digitize?  How about some machine applique' for your Silhouette, AccuQuilt or Sizzix applique'?  Or would you like to create beautiful monograms?  How about digitizing and stitching out special quilt labels?  Or digitize quilt motifs for your quilts?  The possibilities are endless.

Looks promising, but have you tried it yet or can you point me to someone who has?
