Tips For Easy Shopping For Quilting, Sewing and Embroidery Enthusiasts

You might be looking for Birthday, Hanukkah, Christmas, Wedding, or other gifts, yet not have the time to shop, purchase, wrap,  package, ship.  Not to mention efforts to find a good deal.  Well, today I'm delighted to share with you insights on how I've managed to reduce the stress, while finding great pricing and exceptional customer service.

On-line shopping is a great way to reduce stress, minimize time, as well as get great prices and is definitely helping me out this year.  Even better, I found another way to save more money!

Kelly Jackson of I Have a Notion has created the IHAN® Creative Group. Membership is FREE and you get extra discounts on many products too. Click HERE to join today!

Of course, it is always easy for me to find a gift at IHAN, as well as something for myself.

{above} Famore Micro Fine Tweezers 3 1/2 in.  Kelly recommended these tweezers to me, a couple of years ago.  I love, love, love them.  They make reverse sewing so easy as they can easily pull out the finest thread.  For those that use Fabric die cutters (e.g. AccuQuilt, Sizzix, eBosser, etc) they are the best product I've seen for pulling out threads that can get caught between the blades and foam.  Plus, they are the best tweezers for plucking what many of us prefer to not publicly share!  They also make a great stocking stuffer!

{above} Sew In Coin Purse Frame 3 inch Nickle would make for a great stocking stuffer and a fun project.  Geez, their is even plenty of time to get these cute frames and make little coin purses to give as gifts too.

{above} Master Machine Stitching - Thread Sketching Beyond the Basics with Susan Brubaker Knapp is an excellent DVD for anyone interested in learning/improving their free-motion quilting and/or threadplay.  Perfect stocking stuffer or gift too!

{above} Peace Love & Joy Collection by Sarah Vedeler is a fun machine embroidery design collection that can be used to make beautiful quilts, wall hangings table toppers and more.  Possibilities are endless.  Excellent gift choice for anyone that enjoys machine embroidery.

{above} Electric Quilt Software EQ 7 is a robust software program that enables quilters to design their own projects, as well as select fabrics and quilting motifs for their projects.  Definitely an amazing gift idea.  Did you know most professional designers use EQ7 and many that have published their first design did so by using this software?  You may not want to become a professional designer, but you'll certainly have fun using this software to create.

{above} Aurifil - Mark Lipinski Basics Collection 50wt Cotton Thread Set  With membership in the Creative Group, this is probably one of the best prices I've seen. And, this Aurifil thread bundle would certainly make a wonderful gift.  I know I'd be delighted to have Santa drop this off.  Wouldn't you?

{above} Velocity V50 Compact Vapor Generator Iron is an excellent iron that has multiple settings from low heat to super hot, plus it has the absolute best steam setting I've ever seen on an iron.  It is also available at IHAN for a very reasonable price.  This is definitely a gift that will last for years and be a pleasure to iron with!

SewCalGal definitely recommends you join the IHAN Creative Group and get those extra savings for free.  And, while you are signing up, check out all the cool products IHAN offers at great prices, with exceptional customer service.  Is there something you see that you want Santa to bring to you for Christmas?

And, don't forget....Kelly will gift wrap and ship directly to those you want to give a gift to.  She certainly is helping to reduce holiday stress for me.  Love it. And I love IHAN too!

Of course, you could let Santa know what you'd like him to pick up from IHAN for you. Heck, you could simply email Santa a link to what you want.  I've already sent him my list.   hee, hee, hee or shall I say HO! HO! HO!

Update:  Just realized IHAN a Snap Sack bag for $8 (retail is $16).  This is another example of great prices at IHAN and this cute Snap Sack bag would also make a great gift for a quilter!
