Simple Style

Another delightful quilt book has been released this spring called "Simple Style: Easy Weekened Quilts", by Sarah Diepersloot, published by Martingale & Company, home of That Patchwork Place.

Basic quiltmaking techniques:  seam allowances, adding borders, makign a design wall, layering & basting, binding, hanging sleeves, labels.

Pattern insights are shared for sample sizes shown (not a variety of sizes for each pattern).  But an experienced quilter could easily adapt these designs to a variety of sizes.

Over 15 great patterns for theme prints, Asiant prints, batiks, pasetls and more. 

quick and easy.  Designs are perfect for retreat projects, quick weekend projects.

Cute quilt design names:  Grown Up Girls, unnies in My Garden, Surf's Up Baby!

Most are made from squares, strips, or rectangles, and a few feature large triangles just for fun.
