Charity Projects: Busty Cups

Marguerita McManus and her friend Judy came up with a fun idea for raising funds for Breast Cancer Support.  They also want to encourage others to leverage from their idea, to create "Busty Cups" to help raise funds for your local Breast Cancer Awareness, Support and Treatment programs.

Charity Fundraisers are always looking for items to include in gift baskets for raffle or silent auction, as well as stand along fundraising items and Busty Cups cover a variety of areas when it comes to helping to raise funds to benefit various breast cancer programs.

Plus, Busty Cups are a great way to challenge your creativity. They could even be a fun project for your quilt guild, or sewing group.  There are tutorials available to help you make cute Busty Cups, but it is even better when you use your own imagination and sewing skills to create your own unique Busty Cups.

To help with fundraising, check with your local programs that help fight breast cancer.  Susan G. Komen For The Cure, American Cancer Society, and many other programs have a number of fundraising events that could benefit from having Busty Cups.  Of course, you could also make your own Busty Cups, sell them, and donate funds to a local program that helps fight breast cancer.
