I just registered, but the the form insists on company and 2nd address line being completed, which don't apply to a lot of folks, I suspect!
I am looking forward to this as well - can always use more practice!
This looks like a lot of fun. I took your button...does that make me better at FMQ???

What better way to improve my skills than to get tutorials from the best? Plus the icing on the cake, we could even win prizes for learning what we want to know! I'm excited, and worried about my first "test" in "school" already!! lol
am glad to see that i can maybe make this program work for me ... so often i have periods where i cannot do much and hesitate to join in a project in case i may not be able to complete the program. thanx!
I'm really looking forward to this! I always say I need to practice but I never do it! Thank you so much! I am hoping to really increase my machine quilting skills.
What a great idea! Can't wait to begin!
I've sign up, thanks for doing this!
All signed up and my thanks to you. The badge will be on my blog shortly!
I am going to try to stick with this. I am not good at free motion quilting and it's discouraging to do a really nice job on something that is small enough to quilt on my home machine...but then mess it up with my lousy free-motion work!!! Hopefully, this helps!
This is very exciting. I just today ordered a Queen Supreme Slider to use with my Janome for free motion quilting. Now I'll be able to learn to quilt with these monthly tutorials, thank you.
Sounds great. Count me in.
Sign me up!
I am looking forward to the challenge! I posted the information on my blog today.
Thanks I´m looking forward to finally learn it!

I am having the same problem with the button as "Kritta22"? Is there something we're doing wrong? I came here through Quilt Matters and her button seemed to be fine.

I want to take part in this free motion program. I have been working on my skills sporadically so this should be a big help for me to gain confidence. I'm excited to learn more and practice, practice, practice!!!!

I love FMQ and I'm up for this challenge!!!
Count me in - it looks exciting!
i just got a new pfaff machine with more working space and i've been wanting to learn machine quilting in general, but free motion quilting looks to be the most fun. so this challenge is perfect for me. thanx for making this available to us.
I certainly need some kind of "push" to get fmq down! I just get so flustered every time I give it a go, only 1 time has it seemed to look ok, and that was on one 12" square!..lol.. So, can't wait to follow along, and I hope by January 2013 I can say, I not only pieced that quilt, by I fmq'd, it too...instead of always falling back on my hand-quilting...
I certainly need a "push" to get fmq down! I just get so flustered every time I try to do it, and it doesn't go well at all! I then fall back on my stand-by of hand-quilting...which I love hand quilting, but I really want to learn fmq! I have so many quilt tops waiting to be quilted! So, thanks for offering this, and I hope by January 2013 I can say, "yes, I did fmq this quilt."
This is just what I need. Thought that I signed up but just found this site again. Thanks.
Have signed up and looking forward to this challenge :-)
Have to find out how to start.
Are we going to respond every month? and how....

Thought I'd taken the pledge. I don't have a blog, but I am on the facebook group. I need to take the pic of my challenge piece so I can add it to the flicker group.
Thank You so much for bringing these wonderful teachers into my home. Now I can take a machine quilting class (actually 12) anytime in my scheldule. The quilt sampler is a great idea.
I'm in for the challenge and have registered! It's almost the end of the month, so need to make up sandwiches quickly!
I am taking the pledge, and I hope I have enough time to do all the remainder of the year's (and hopefully "catch up" on January).
Wow! Just found out about this... I pledge and hope I have enough time to fully participate.
I am taking the pledge, and I hope I have enough time to do all the remainder of the year's (and hopefully "catch up" on January).

Even though I couldn't find the pledge on this page, I will make up one of my own.
I, Laurel Homer, take the Pledge to learn/improve my free motion quilting skills in 2012, on a home sewing machine. I will do this primarily through the 2012 Free-Motion Quilting Challenge.
I'm ready to get better at fmq, I didnt get a chance to do January but I'm definitely going to try february (and since it is Leap Year, I'll be sewing all day on that special additional day!)

Val/cleomisty - Your settings are as a no reply blogger so I couldn't send you an email reply. The post that has the monthly tutorial also has the info for what you need to do to enter the monthly challenge. You can always find a link to that post by visiting the page that has a tab, towards the top of my blog, labeled "2012 FMQ Challenge".
I have taken the pledge and have completed the first three challenges - but since I didn't see my name, I figured that perhaps I should REGISTER once again! :)
This is so much fun.....thank you for the BOOST!
