Winners of the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards

While today is April Fool's Day, this post is not a joke!

Like the Oscars, there are always many to thank and recognize for making something special happen.  Thus, it is also appropriate that I take time to thank everyone helped by voting for their favorite nominee in the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards, to Kathleen Brown for help with tallying votes, and to the wonderful Sponsors of this event.  Speaking of which, everyone is invited to the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards Party on April 8th when 30 wonderful giveaway prizes, donated by our sponsors, will be given away.

I feel like the party has officially started and will not end until the Giveaway bash on April 8th.  As there are typically many toasts at such parties, it seems we need to lift our glasses to toast.  Please raise your glass and toast with me to honor all of the nominees for the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards.  "Here is to everyone I look up to!"

Before we  toast to congratulate the winners of the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards, I'd like to heighten awareness that SewCalGal was the host of this event, therefore ineligible to nominate and/or vote.  Like the nominees, the winners were recognized  by fellow quilters, from throughout the world, for your contributions in making our world of quilting so wonderful, and the consensus was that you are the Best in the respective category you were nominated for, among the best of the world.  We lift our glasses to toast to you:  "To excellence, which means caring more than some think is wise, Risking more than some think is safe, Dreaming more than some think is sensible, And working more than most are willing to do!".

Drum roll..........

The envelopes are opened and I'm happy to announce the official winners of the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards.

The sponsors for the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards and giveaway are:

These sponsors have generously donated 30 wonderful prizes for a giveaway where those that help with PR, nominate, vote, as well as enter the giveaway for this event, have a chance to win prizes. If you have not yet entered this giveaway, you may wish to click here to enter and review the rules, where you can also learn about various ways to win.

Like the Oscars, there are those that report the news and help increase awareness which is always appreciated by the winners.  Thus, I ask all  PR Angels that can post insights on their blogs about the 2011 Golden Quilter  Awards, and include a complete list of all the winners in their post, to help with PR.  For those that are able to do so, please leave a comment on this post, with a link to your post, for an extra entry in the giveaway for this event.

For everyone, I hope if you have a chance you congratulate the winners of the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards whenever you see them, via Facebook, Twitter, email, or how you feel appropriate.

In closing, I simply want to say again "Congratulations to the winners of the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards".

A huge thank you to sewcalgal for organizing the 2011 Golden Quilter Awards, and everyone that voted for the accuquilt GO! Fabric cutter. Everyone in the accuquilt family can't thank you enough for your continued support of what we are trying to achieve. I'd like to recognize the efforts of the blog community who have taken accuquilt to quilters around the globe with inspirational tutorials and insightful reviews.
