My Favorite Tutorials - Curvaceous Piecing

SusanClaire Mayfield is a quilter whom many know as the Gourmet Quilter.  She is a teacher and designer, who has also created many BOM programs that have been adopted by various Quilt Shops to offer to their customers. SewCalGal is fond of the Gourmet Quilter's designs, blog, and videos and wanted to share with you today one of Susan's videos - Curvacious Piecing.

This technique looks like a great stash buster, as well as to use with new coordinated fabrics.  And, for those that enjoy free-motion quilting, it also looks like a fun technique that just lends itself to show off beautiful free-motion quilting.

I hope you enjoy this technique from the Gourmet Quilter and can see why I've added it to my list of favorite tutorials.  Of course, I'd love to hear from you if you have used this technique, or when you get a chance to try it out, please let me know what you think.

  1. Excellent! I can't wait to try this now that I've got my curve sewing conquered. I wonder how hard it is to do a much bigger piece, like for a baby quilt. I'll be playing with this soon.
