Fabulously Fast Quilts, by Amy Smart

Amy Smart is a quilter, blogger, teacher, designer and author. Her book "Fabulous Fast Quilts", published by Martingale is packed with 12 fun and fast quilt projects perfect for quilters of all levels.

All of the designs in this book come with easy to follow instructions and great visuals.

SewCalGal is confident many of the designs in this book are going to become "go to" designs for quilters to make whenever they want a beautiful and fast quilt for a gift, charity, or to use in their own home.

Some of the projects may look complex, but Amy shares tips and techniques to quickly make these beautiful designs.  They are also versatile designs that would work well with a variety of styles of fabrics.  SewCalGal also thinks many of these designs would be great for stash busting!

All of the designs have been grouped in four shortcut categories and there are three quilts to each category:  strip piecing, quick corners, slick slicing, and stack, slice and shuffle.

Designs range in size from 40” x 48” to 71½" x 82”.

SewCalGal hopes you get a chance to check out this new book at your local quilt shop or favorite online shop.  And if they don't have it available, let them know you are interested in having them carry this new book.  Of course, you can also find it online at Martingale or Amazon.
