Karen K. Stone: More Quilts Software Review and Giveaway

Karen K. Stone: More Quilts, a software package from the Electric Quilt Company is a collection of Karen's most sought-after designs both new and popularly sold-out designs.   This CD package is for EQ7 users and it contains EQ7 files for 11 of Karen's quilt designs and 4 fabric libraries (over 1,675 fabrics) that EQ7 users can use to create these designs by Karen K. Stone, or adapt in EQ7 to make these designs their own.

This collection is a follow-up to her Karen K. Stone Quilts CD and Book produced several years ago.  Karen is probably best known for her New York Beauty and related designs and many quilters have won awards for quilts that they made using Karen's designs, or basing their designs on Karen's paper pieced and/or applique' designs.

For EQ7 users it is easy to print the patterns "as is", based on how Karen designed them.  Or you can change the designs or fabrics in EQ7, making it your own design.  It is easy to print rotary cutting, foundation patterns, templates, yardage estimates, as well as color pictures of the blocks and/or quilts.  Plus, Karen provided PDF files with sewing instructions for each of her 11 quilt designs that are included in this collection.

Here are a few photos of some of the designs included in this CD:

Did I mention a Giveaway?

The Electric Quilt Company was kind enough to offer a copy of this software as a giveaway for followers of SewCalGal.  If you are interested in winning a copy of this software, which works with EQ7 software, please complete the Rafflecopter form below.  BTW, as Google/Reader was obsoleted this summer and there are so many tools available to follow a blog, I'm curious what everyone is using.

To enter, simply click here to enter this giveaway.

This giveaway will remain open through the end of September. I'll update this post to announce the winner on October lst and I'll send an email to the lucky winner too.

This giveaway is open to quilters anywhere in the world.  SewCalGal will pay for shipping, out of funds raised from Craftsy, Smilebox and Amazon affiliate programs. For those that have purchased items from these sources, by clicking them from links on SewCalGal - thank you for being a "postage angel".  I couldn't continue to afford to ship giveaways and prizes from various events, without your help and support!  Combined with the fact that I personal like their products, becoming an affiliate was required for SewCalGal to continue to provide these opportunities for followers to enjoy.  As such, I hope to offer many more to you in the future, but the volume and ability to ship US, US/Canada vs world-wide will be limited to funds raised from such affiliate programs.  Email me, if you have questions or concerns.

Update:  The winner was randomly selected and announced on October lst.

Congratulations to:

An email has been sent to Kathryn. I need to receive your snail mail address to mail you your prize.

  18. I use Bloglovin as my reader. It was the easiest, I thought, to have everything transfer over from Google Reader. The only thing I don't like is that I can't seem to search "blog land" with key words, only the ones I follow.
