Vendors at Road to California and a Giveaway

There were some fantastic vendors at the 2013 Road to California Conference and Quilt Show.  Beautiful patterns, great gadgets, yummy fabrics, excellent books, jewelry, buttons and more!  I had such fun visiting Cozy Quilt Designs and seeing all their demonstrations, I wanted to share insights with you today.

Save the Selvages, by Sandy Thompson is a new book published by Cozy Quilt Designs.  It is packed with 16 patterns, tips and inspiration for turning your selvages into spectacular projects.

Many beautiful quilts, from new patterns were on display and yummy kits were available too!  And, you can always find great  kits at Cozy's all the time.

Daniela Stout also gave demonstrations on strip tubing, which is fun and fast way to make quilts and other projects.  Check out her youtube videos if you are not yet familiar with this technique.

While shopping in the Cozy Quilt Designs' booth at Road, I picked up three new (recently introduced) patterns, one each for three different winners:

  54. I love Cozy Quilt products. I have purchased a few of their patterns in the past on-line and hope to make it to their store some day. I would love to be there for one of their Saturday surprises. Unfortunately, since I am in Canada, I am not in the running for the bag, but I would love to take home one of the patterns you picked up. All three are gorgeous.
