This is a great time of year to start thinking about what you may have in your Stash that you'd like to get rid of.
Fingertip Shopping is hosting a De-Stash Sale/Linky Party that is open to everyone, including those selling handmade items on ETSY. This was a popular event last Spring (and Fall) with many quilters finding good homes for things that were taking up space in their sewing room and they were able to benefit with some green cash! And, buyers had fun finding all sorts of deals and steals.
While going thru my Stash, I see quite a few things that I should get rid of, as I know it will be awhile before I'll have time to use them. One of which, is several stacks of charm squares in different color palettes.
How would you like this scrappy pink/purple charm pack?
This charm bundle has 50 charms.
And, while you may see a similar bundle in my Spring De-Stash efforts, among other items, this particular bundle is a giveaway to followers of SewCalGal this week. And this giveaway is open to public followers from all over the world, even though US postal rates have skyrocketed for international shipments.
If you would like to win this charm pack, simply be a public follower and leave a comment on this blog post. I'll randomly select a winner and announce next Friday. Pretty simply. And, if no one wants to win this bundle of charm squares, I may just decide to keep it and make a Lil'Twister quilt with it, or a pinwheel quilt, or ??? Possibilities with charms are endless.
I also want to let everyone know, that even with increasing postage costs, I'm going to try to continue to host a couple of Fun Friday Giveaways every month. And, I hope to have at least half of them open to international followers. The frequency will be based on how well I do with funds raised from Affiliate programs (e.g. Craftsy, Amazon). And, I certainly appreciate your patience and support. So, please understand and know that nasty emails from international followers are not fun, especially when I spend so much personal money (and time) blogging and hosting giveaways.
I also strive to recognize Postage Angels that donate money towards postage, as well as those that kindly reimburse me for postage expenses. This is a great pay it forward opportunity that I do believe brings you good kharma and I hope helps you win in various giveaways in blogland, Lotto, and other contests.
SewCalGal wants to recognize and thank Wendy W. for being a Postage Angel and helping to sponsor this giveaway, as well as shipping prizes for the giveaway for last week. Truly, without Wendy's support as a Postage Angel there wouldn't be a giveaway this week, nor next week! And, next week's giveaway should be pretty darn good!
Speaking of which, the winners of the
giveaway for last week, where I picked up items at the Road to California Conference and Quilt Show, for a Fun Friday Giveaway sponsored by SewCalGal, are:
The Tote from Road to California:
"
"Regatta" quilt pattern, by Cozy Quilt Designs
winner: Rina (Crickets Corner)
"Gridlock" quilt pattern, by Cozy Quilt Designs
These winners have a week to claim their prize. Simply
email me with your mailing info and I'll get your prize posted to you ASAP.
And, don't forget about the
Spring De-Stash Sale at Fingertip Shopping.
Congratulations to the winners and thank you for hosting. A huge thank you to the postage angels!

ReplyDeleteYou have been wonderful with your giveaways. It is very expensive to send international and some countries have very strict rules regarding what type of fabric and other items are allowed to be mailed to their countries. You should not feel bad that you have restrictions on your giveaways. It's great you are able to do what you do.
Ooh, how pretty. Thanks for the giveaway.
