Judy Martin Star Power Software and Giveaway

One can never spot too many stars in the sky, just as one can never have too many quilts with stars on them.  Thus, I hope you can understand why I was excited when I learned that the Electric Quilt Company introduced a new add-on for EQ7, at Fall Quilt Market 2012, called Star Power.

Star Power provides EQ7 users an additional 110 star blocks and 17 EQ Projects, that contain 61 quilt designs!

These blocks, like all blocks designed in EQ7, can be combined to design your own quilts, and other projects, resulting in an endless number of possible designs using stars!

Requires EQ7 software. 110 blocks and 61 quilts to use in your EQ7! Plus, piecing diagrams for every block and quilt!

Are you seeing the possibilities with Judy Martin's Star Power designs?  

I'm wanting to use Judy's Star designs to create a Modern Quilt Design that incorporates a few star blocks, for a Patriotic theme quilt.  I still need to play with my design, but I thought you may want to see a sneak peek.  EQ7 and the new Judy Martin Star Power software is really fun to use and the design possibilities are endless.

I think a Modern Quilt design with Judy's stars would be a fun quilt to make and one that would show off beautiful free-motion quilting. What do you think?   Of course, I can also think how fun it would be to use this add-on to create clip art, blog headers, Facebook profile images, greeting cards and more.  What would you like to create with it?
