Sophisticated Stitches, by Don Linn

Sophisticated Stitches: Designs for Quilting, Applique, Sashiko & Embroidery, by Don Linn is an excellent book for any quilter interested in improving their free-motion quilting (FMQ)  skills and incorporating spectacular FMQ designs in their projects.

Don shares insights on 66 art deco motifs, flowers, and Japanese crests that work for hand or machine quilting, as well as applique' and embroidery.  You can easily enlarge or reduce the designs in this book, to fit any space.

I hope you get a chance to check out this book at your local quilt store or CT Publishing's online store.  It is also available at Amazon.com
