Simply Fat Quarters: Quilts With Comfort & Style (and a giveaway too)

I'm excited to share insights with you today about a new quilt book called "Simply Fat Quarters: Quilts With Comfort & Style", written and published by the It's Sew Emma team.  And, I also have insights on some giveaway opportunities, where you could win a copy of this book that SewCalGal anticipates to become a best seller very quickly!

This book is targeted for quilters of all levels, but SewCalGal recommends it for "Confident" Beginners thru Experienced Quilters, that want to make fun and fast quilts using Fat Quarter Bundles (or create your own fabric bundles).

There are ten beautiful quilt patterns in this book, each with four size options from Crib to King Size, so you could easily make 40 different quilts from insights in this book!

The talented team members for It's Sew Emma are:  Kimberly Jolly, Sarah Price, Debbie Taylor and Jocelyn Ueng.

Instructions are provided for each design for fabric requirements, cutting instructions, block and quilt assembling.  And there are color photos of beautiful quilts for each pattern!

I certainly had fun making "Poppy", designed by Kimberly Jolly and looking forward to quilting it this week.  Like most of my sample quilts, this one will be given to a silent auction fundraiser scheduled November 10th.
(email me if you want more info on this event, to be held in San Diego).

I definitely want to make this design again, but I'm also looking forward to making other designs from this fun quilting book too!

Did I mention a giveaway?

The It's Sew Emma team is generously giving away two copies of Simply Fat Quarters to two followers of SewCalGal (one copy to each winner).  To enter, simply leave a comment on this post to let me know you'd like to create a project with this book.

Want an extra entry? Go "like" Fat Quarter Shop on Facebook. And, let them know you like their Simply Fat Quarters book.  Then, come back and leave an extra comment on this post to claim this extra entry.

SewCalGal will randomly select and announce the winners on Friday, October 26th

Visit the Simply Fat Quarters Showcase for more opportunities to win a copy of this book.  The Simply Fat Quarters Showcase is a blog hop celebrating this new book and each blog has a giveaway where you can enter for a chance to winning a copy.  Here is the line up:
