Show Me How To Plan My Quilting, by Kathy Sandbach, published by C&T Publishing, was released in 2007 and is still an excellent book for quilters interested in free-motion quilting.



Kathy shared insights on free-motion quilting, with an emphasis on how to plan your quilting, but much more is shared in this book than is captured in the title.

Insights are shared to help with fabric choices, thread color, creating empty spaces for quilting, pressing,, ways to showcase the free-motion quilting and much more.

 This book provides  6 complete projects, with more 30 free motion quilting designs.  Projects range in size 20”x20” to  54”x70”” that create placemats, table toppers, wallhangings to complete size quilts

 The free-motion quilting designs in this book are "doodles" that can be quilted using free-motion quilting techniques.  Quilting motifs include leaves, flowers, trees & leaves, a selection of letters, teacups, strawberries, sailboats,  cars, helicopters,  kites, girls, boys, presents, grapes,  animals, feathered wreath, feathered borders and much more!
You'll definitely enjoy the "Gallery Quilts" that showcase some spectacular quilts with beautiful free motion quilting.

    I have this book, and I must say that it's truly wonderful! I haven't read it cover to cover yet, but have read some of the beginning, which has a ton of info. I really love the quilting designs and the projects in there too. I got my copy when C & T had that "Spring Fling" sale, and am so glad that I have it!
