Fun Friday Giveaway: Sponsored by Martingale/Home of That Patchwork Place

Thank you to Martingale, Home of That Patchwork Place for being a generous sponsor of the Fun Friday Giveaway today.

I'm excited to share some insights, with you today,  on five books, published by Martingale & Company, home of That Patchwork Place.  Projects in these books all contain easy to follow instructions with great visuals, which is a common quality I consistently find in project books published by Martingale.

Martingale - Small Pieces, Spectacular Quilts (Print version + eBook bundle)

Small Pieces, Spectacular Quilts: Patterns Inspired by Antique Quilts, by Mary Elizabeth Kinch and Biz Storms shares insights on rarely seen antique quilts, plus a brief historical perspective on small-piece designs. There are 10 beautiful projects that range in size from  50 1/2" x 68 1/4" to 86 3/4" x 97 1/4".

Martingale - The Sew Simple Guide to Easy Sewing and Embellishing (Print version

The Sew Simple Guide to Easy Sewing and Embellishing, by the editors of SewNews is absolutely packed with instructions that will help many learn to sew and build their skills.  Learn sewing basics such as working with interfacing, seams, pressing, darts, zippers, sewing and more.  There is also a section on sewing with different types of fabrics, such as Fleece, Knits, Oilcloth, etc.  And, a good section on building your embellishing skills where you'l learn about hand embroidery, couching, fusible applique', needle felting, fabric foiling and more.

Martingale - Needles and Notions (Print version + eBook bundle)

Needles and Notions: Paper-Pieced Patterns with a Sewing Room Theme, by Janette Huff is packed with fun patterns perfect for quilters to make projects for their home, as well as gifts.  I also think this book would make for an excellent Quilt Guild program, as well as a Guild Challenge!   The detail in these paper pieced blocks with various sewing motifs is amazing.  Definitely a fun book that will help you create some fun projects.

Martingale - Stitched for Fun

Stitched for Fun: 35 Easy and Adorable Embroidery Projects, by Fiona Goble is a wonderful hand embroidery book with fun projects to enjoy in your home, wear, as well as to give as gifts.  This is a "must have" book for anyone that enjoys hand embroidery, as well as those that want to learn hand embroidery.

Martingale - Simple Charm (Print version + eBook bundle)

Simple Charm: 12 Scrappy Patchwork and Applique' Quilt Patterns, by Kim Diehl is a delightful new collection to Kim's best-selling Simple series of books.  Projects in this book range in size from 8"x9" pillow  to 68 1/2x84 1/2 quilt. Great book for quilters of all skill levels and a "must have" book for those that enjoy scrappy quilting.
