Plus, there are many fun things to do and see nearby:

Southern California is a great place for the family to join quilters at the IQF Long Beach Quilt Show.  Nearby, there are wonderful attractions, including visiting the Queen Mary, touring the Aquarium of the Pacific, and visiting nearby Disneyland, along with enjoying a swim in the warm Pacific Ocean or a walk on the beach, as well as shopping at some lovely nearby quilt shops!  The show is held  near the harbor, which provides a wonderful setting for walks to enjoy ocean breezes and great views.

There are also many great restaurants in the area.  And, Long Beach also has an excellent public transportation system that has a stop very close to the Convention Center.
