Win a copy of the #1 Software for Quilters: Electric Quilt / EQ7

Did you know that EQ7 was voted the #1 software for quilters, in the Golden Quilter Awards for 2011 and in 2010 EQ6 was voted the #1 software for quilters?  Clearly, the Electric Quilt Company has excellent software tools that are loved by many quilters throughout the world!

EQ7 is a modern quilting tool with extensive functionality and superior quality.  It can help you select colors and fabrics, determine fabric requirements, easily change a design from one size to another, add sashing and borders to blocks and more.  The possibilities are endless.

Actually, many award winning quilt designers use EQ software too!  But, even if you don't aspire to be such a quilter, you can have fun  with EQ7.  Heck, you can even use this software to not just design quilts, but some have used it to design their gardens, room layouts and more.  You can even use it to create designs to print on fabric, create your own quilt labels, or even use it to create flyers or images for your blog, greeting cards, etc..

SewCalGal  highly recommends EQ7 and also encourages new EQ users to take advantage of free online lessons , free videos available on EQ's site and those on YouTube, as well as the EQ6  lesson books that are also a great learning resource and are on sale.

Want to win a copy of EQ7?  To enter, all you need to do is simply leave a comment on this post.  A winner will be randomly selected and announced next Friday.  Just be sure I have a way to contact you.
Do you want to earn extra entries to increase your chance of winning?  Please leave a comment for each of the following extra entries you want to claim, and let me know in your comment which extra entry you are claiming:

Lastly, looking for great Christmas gift ideas?  Be sure to check out the  Electric Quilt site as they have many wonderful products that make for great Christmas gifts:
EQ Gift Ideas
Quilt Design Wizard is truly perfect for computer novices. While not as robust as EQ7, it is still a fun tool to design quilts in.  And, EQ Printables are one of the absolute best printables on the market. You can print from your home printer to this media to create quilts, wallhangings, pillows, and more.
Quiltng Designs and Newsprint
I'll admit my personal dream is to have the entire collection of EQ's Quilting Designs.  This very reasonable software can be used within EQ6/EQ7 to plan out quilting designs on your projects, and it is also very easy to print and transfer your design to your quilt, scaled for a template for free-motion quilting.  Oh, I can't wait to share more on how this works.  Love it.

EQ Companion Books, and various EQ Add-on software packages would also make great gifts.  Ok, I now have my Christmas Wish list ready to give to Santa!

Lastly, I want to announce the winner of last weeks' giveaway for MyMemories Software Suite was randomly selected when my DH picked #37.  Who is 37?  Congratulations to Marianne

UPDATE TO THIS POST:

I want to announce the winner of the copy of EQ7. The winner is: VickiT

  64. I'd like to win - I used very early quilt design software in the 90's and spent more time on that than quilting, so I originally wasn't interested. But a woman from our guild has been speaking about it and her quilts are amazing, so I can see how it would help rather than get in the way of my quilting. Thanks for the giveaway!
