Ricky Tims Convergence Quilts
Did you know the "Ricky Tims' Convergence Quilts: Mysterious, Magical, Easy, and Fun, by Ricky Tims" is available in e:book format? Plus, C&T Publishing also offers the option of buying the bundle (printed copy and e:book).
Ricky and C&T Publishing have done a great job capturing these easy and fun techniques, in this book, making this book a great quilting book for quilters of all levels (beginners to advanced). You too can make beautiful, artistic quilts, with two or more fabrics. These quilts stand on their own as beautiful quilts, or you can applique and/or embellish on them to create even more artistic quilts.
There are four projects in this book, with excellent instructions and pictures that are all easy to follow and fun. Plus, each project includes photos of beautiful quilts, that also inspire and show a variety of ways you can create your own unique convergence quilts. The possibilities are endless.
Ricky also shares insights on his personal background, a gallery of inspirational convergence quilts and tips for choosing fabrics. Getting Ricky's insights on selecting fabric is worth buying this book, as we all know Ricky selects beautiful fabrics for his quilts.
Ricky Tims also has a nice on-line gallery of these inspirational quilts.
For further inspiration, you may want to check out Kelly Jackson's (IHAN) convergence quilt that she has entered in Linda M. Poole's challenge. It is Kelly's first convergence quilt and it is absolutely beautiful.
