Pets on Quilts Show - Lenor Lynas

This cute beautiful girl is the four legged child of Lenor Lynas.   Lenor submitted this entry via Facebook, with the following insight:

Here's my entry into the Pets on Quilt Show. This is my Alaskan Klee Kai, Kyli, on a quilt I made and donated to my dog breed club to raffle. I have donated at least one doggie quilt, and sometimes two, evey year since 2002 as a fund raiser for my breed club and have made quite a few over the years. A portion of the funds raised goes toward our breed rescue.

The quilt's name is "Pup Up" because of the doggie heads that are appliqued on it that appear to be popping up!

Click here for more info on the Pets and Quilts Show, as well as viewing other quilts that have been submitted so far. Entries will be accepted thru August 21st. But those that want a chance at winning the Viewer's Choice Awards (Dog category, Cat Category or Other Pet Category) need to have their entries submitted by Saturday, September 11th.

  12. I love the appliqued dog heads! My 2 year old son is helping me vote on the quilt show. We just finished watching Snow Buddies. That's right, Mommy (me) has popped a "winter" video into the player during the hottest time of the year. I'm hoping it will make us feel cooler. After watching the movie, we looked at the quilts, and yelled, "SHASTA" when he saw yours. Your poochie is a movie star dog, "Shasta" according to my 2 year old. Too bad you can't get royalties. Good luck in the quilt show :)
