We launched "4Patches4Hope" just 2 weeks ago, and already have raised $75 and collected nearly 50 4 patches, just through internet "word of mouth". It feels good to help - even in a small way.Reginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06180104163495530405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5250006727943954486.post-13522418388740205542011-10-18T06:58:31.767-07:002011-10-18T06:58:31.767-07:00What an incredible goal you set and then surpassed...What an incredible goal you set and then surpassed! Komen foundation. Her best friend's mother had passed away from breast cancer and she wanted to do something to help fight the disease. Her web site is www.pinkcures.com. She also accepts donations of items that she auctions off to help raise money. Some of my quilting friends and I have donated quilts for her auctions. You may publish her web site address on your blog if you like.Bettyhttp://www.bettyalofs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5250006727943954486.post-53228397616925691072011-10-17T20:41:37.690-07:002011-10-17T20:41:37.690-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.JonHeberthttp://savethetatas.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5250006727943954486.post-12733894719897421292011-10-17T19:35:00.770-07:002011-10-17T19:35:00.770-07:00Great patterns! And what an awesome goal that you have achieved in donations.

Recently I had a lump scare, but luckily it turned out to be a crazy lymph node acting up. My goal in raising awareness, which will hopefully be reached in three weeks, is to raise enough money to be able to participate in the 3-day for the cure. 60 miles in 3 days! If these brave women who are diagnosed with breast cancer can go through chemo, then I can walk 60 miles! Heck there are women who walk those miles while going through treatment!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15037278162813472132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5250006727943954486.post-12945994052132483662011-10-17T15:55:50.500-07:002011-10-17T15:55:50.500-07:00Wonderful post. I have been part of 2 quilts made by friends that were donated to a local charity to assist women getting treatment.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06412341664506380343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5250006727943954486.post-33292331059206924602011-10-17T15:30:15.697-07:002011-10-17T15:30:15.697-07:00This is such useful information.
