Embroidery and Patchwork Revisited and a Giveaway

Embroidery and Patchwork Revisited is an excellent resource for those interested in  learning embroidery, as well as making embroidered patchwork quilts and other projects.  It is rare to see a book published on this topic and this book is one of the best I've seen published for this subject.

Blocks (A,B,C,D) come with easy to follow instructions for creating these patchwork blocks, and templates are also included.  The classroom section for Embroidering the Sample blockers come with well written instructions and great visuals for a variety of stitches (e..g Backstitch, Blanket/Buttonhole Stitch, Bullion Stitch, Buttonhole Stitch Long and Short, Butonhole Stitch Up and Down, Chain Stitch, Chain Stitch Detached, Chain Stitch Heavy, Colonial Knot, Cross Stitch,  Feather Stitch, Fly Stitch, Herringbone Stitch, Interlaced Stitch, Laced Cretan Stitch, Pistal Stitch, Sheaf Stitch, Stem Stitch, and Straight Stitch.

Designs are also included for a variety of projects:  Etui (small decorative case), Marguette Tote, Scrappy Tidbits (18"x18" miniature quilt), Fan Favorite (28"x28"), and  A Quilt To Dream Under (70"x70").
