Charmed, I'm Sure: Quilts and more from 5" Squares, by Lesley Chaisson

Charmed, I'm Sure: Quilts and more from 5" Squares, by Lesley Chaisson is a new book with lovely quilt designs all based off of using charm squares.  You can use pre-cut charms or cut your own from scraps in your stash!  Thus, this is also a great quilt book for those that want to do some stash-busting.


Charmed I'm Sure is published by Martingale & Company, home of That Patchwork Place, which means it is a well organized book, full of great visuals and well written instructions.
Lesley shares 15 projects, in this book, ranging from lap quilts and table quilts to twin-sized bed quilts that range in size from 22x44 1/2   to 72 1/2" x 83.


There are sections that share insights on fabric & color selection, pressing, machine piecing, binding and more.  Thus, I view this is a great book for beginners, but also a great book for quilters of all levels.


Many designs are pieced, but a few have light applique'.
 I hope you get a chance to check out this delightful book at your local quilt store, or at Martingale & Company's online store.

    I am always looking for new ideas to use up the stash. I love the green quilt with the HST's. I will have to look for the book at my LQS.
