Today, SewCalGal is hosting a Holiday Blog Blitz to wish you a very Merry Christmas. All of the participating blogs will also be sharing a free holiday recipe with you, so I hope you'll take time to hop and have fun too!
I'll confess I got a late start on my baking this year. I do enjoy holiday baking and sharing with family and friends, especially those that may be unable to do any baking of their own. While I'm still doing more baking today, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite and easiest recipes that I like to make during the holidays:
Years ago I fell in love with the Oatmeal Cranberry Cookie recipe, that is on the package for dried cranberries (Craisins Brand). The recipe "as is" is excellent, but I have made a few changes:
Jalepeno Artichoke dip is a tasty and versatile snack that is good served with crackers cold, or as a hot dip. I like applying it to a Boboli Pizza crust and baking for a yummy appetizer. When in a hurry this also works for purchased Jalepeno Artichoke dip, but this is the recipe I've been using to make my own dip (spread on a Boboli).
You have brought great happiness and inspiration to me this past year and I am truly grateful. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and for those celebrating Hanukkah, I wish for you a very Happy Hanukkah. And, I wish all of us a Happy Holiday and a very Happy and Healthy New Year that is also filled with peace, happiness, kindness and, of course, #CreativeGoodness.
Here is the line up of participants in this Holiday Blog Blitz, where you can get a yummy holiday recipe at each stop in this hop. I've seen a few sneak peaks on the recipes and they really are yummy. So, click thru, hop, and enjoy #HolidayGoodness.
